Tying It Together with Tim Boyum

Jul 7, 2021

On the heels of a No. 1 spot on Netflix in 2020, "Outer Banks" returns for its second season on July 30. Just like last year, not a single frame of film was recorded in North Carolina.

On this week’s episode of "Tying It Together With Tim Boyum," Tim travels to Wilmington to meet with co-creator Jonas Pate. They talk about the show's inspiration, the cast and why it wasn't filmed in North Carolina. Later, we'll get a sneak peak at the new season and talk about the future of the film industry in North Carolina.

Yes, we'll also talk about the ferry to Chapel Hill controversy from the first season!
